The San Antonio Workforce Initiative Task Force, under the leadership of 丽莎外套, (former) Senior Associate Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, completed a report in January 2019 outlining a framework for 世界杯官方app to support the city’s growing need for a skilled workforce.

世界杯官方app’s implementation of the task force’s recommendations resulted in an administrative realignment and the creation of Professional and Continuing 教育 (PaCE). Since its inception in early 2020, under the new leadership of 梅丽莎·维托, Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, and 梅丽莎·K. 马汉, Associate Vice Provost for Academic Innovation, PaCE has refined its mission and operational processes, hired critical personnel, established a community feedback network and continues to deepen relationships with area employers and civic partners. PaCE played a vital role in reskilling and upskilling local 工人 during the COVID-19 pandemic and now manages a diverse portfolio of courses and certificate programs, including community art education classes.
